Was great to read and also some what inspiring. This series is unlike any I have read of before, and has also encouraged me to read more about different people with different experiences. Although I'm pretty sure this is fiction, it also helped me to better understand people in the world who are going through very similar situations.

After reading the introductory novel to Breaking Silence, this was a wonderful and much needed clarification on Oakley’s life and love with her best friend. I found this book to have an amazing story line that kept things, though heavy, upbeat due to Oakley’s new found positivity.

The book was very light reading. I finished it but it was very mediocre. Looking forward to an adult book.

Good book, and it kept me reading an entire day, but I started to get annoyed with the whole thing. It seems like the author can’t just let things be, and was grasping at straws trying to keep the book going. Also, was a little unclear in certain parts, like never explained why everyone was so antsy til i realized the trial starting meant the defendants were entering their plea of guilty or not guilty. Also, she uses the same phrases so many times, and there were a few typos. All in all tho, it was an ok book. Worth the equivalent of a cup of coffee.
